"I celebrate the unexpected, the unplanned, and the joy of embracing serendipity in art."

Common wisdom tells artists to work on developing a definitive style... a brand, but at this point in my journey I love experimenting ... Somedays it's all about abstract brights - and others it's about creating soothing  pleasing  landscapes.

Variety as they say is the spice of life and what I think  keeps my painting "fresh"

At this stage in my artistic endevours, I like to call my paintings                                    "Happy Accidents"

Maybe you might like some of them too.

Abstracts

These were early experiments, exploring colour and form and became the backdrop for all my covid zoom meetings with television networks and the production office. Overtime these developed into one of my favourite styles of painting

Impressionist 'Masters' tributes

If I could emulate any painter it would be the impressionists: Van Gogh & Monet. When I'm feeling brave I try to recreate some of their works (but I leave out the really hard parts like people) These paintings have me day dreaming about a simpler life... and they're fun!

The Brights

BOLD BOLD BOLD    This acrylic epoxied series is all about:  'in your face' colours achieving  peaceful harmony . Waaaaay harder than it looks. Many a canvas's has sacrificed its life to the dumpster....only the Happy Accidents survived.

Landscapes

I like to call these 'Comforting abstract landscapes.' The kind of painting that quietly says - pretty, yet doesn't scream for attention. Personally  Landscapes are my favourites  they can create such a mood - but boy are they tough to get right!
